Who knows whether Beyonce’s bling will rock the vote for Barack Obama; still, she’s certainly rocked sales of the Barack Obama-touting hoop earrings she was spotted wearing in New York last week. Before Beyonce turned up in the handmade gold baubles emblazoned with Obama’s name, Puerto Rican jewelry designer Erika Pena had sold only five pairs at $32 a pop, TMZ reports. But in the week since Beyonce made ‘em cool, orders have skyrocketed in from all over the world, and Pena has now sold more than 1,300 sets. [Source]
