A five-storey building, known as UBA Plaza, on Bread Fruit Street, Lagos Island, Saturday, was gutted by fire. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that the fire which started shortly before 5.00 p.m. affected the fourth and fifth floor of the building, but was finally put under control three hours later by officials of the Lagos State Fire Service.
