14 REASONS WHY BEAUTIFUL WOMEN ARE STILL SINGLE

14 Reasons Why Beautiful Women Are Still Single
But if you’re wearing a sweatshirt and jeans without any makeup and your friends are doing a little something to make themselves appealing, most men’s eyes are going to go for those girls first.

It’s a Friday night. Your girlfriends all have date nights with their boyfriends. They’re going to dinner, the movies, staying in and spending time together. And you: you’re alone. And it doesn’t take long for you to wonder why.

Well, the answer isn’t as simple as you may think. And in some cases, it’s simpler than you think. There’s no way of really knowing unless we speak with you, but here are some of the most common reasons we encounter as Relationship Coaches that a woman may not have that special man in her life.

High Standards

It’s great to have high standards. No woman should sell herself short and then be stuck in a situation she regrets. But, there is such a thing as having standards that are too high. What’s the difference, you ask? Well, normal standards look like this: “I want him to respect me, treat me right, and be honest and decent”. High standards look like this: “He better drive a Lexus and have a job making six figures”. It’s good to have expectations. But ultimately, whether or not he’s a high earner isn’t going to bring you happiness or a stable relationship. Also, don’t let your standards get in the way of a good guy. Sometimes women will pass on a man, believing they can do better, only to settle with a lesser someone years later. Always ask yourself if your standards are realistic. And more importantly, ask if your standards will nab you the man that will make you happy.

Negativity

This might be something to look at. Do you need to win every argument? Are you confrontational or super defensive? Do you never give compliments, are always negative, or can’t be pleased? Believe it or not, there are certain personality traits that will turn men off, no matter how gorgeous a woman is. If you always walk into a relationship like nothing he does is good enough, he will not stick around. And if, when you first meet a man, you’re not willing to engage him in conversations about his interests, he will also not stick around. Don’t be combative or hostile, and don’t let one thing he says turn you off to him completely. Open up a little more, and don’t stress. Men who see women as unfairly and overly negative usually head for the door.

You’re Going After the Wrong Guy

It happens all too often. You’re able to pull what you think is a fantastic guy – good looking, charming, a guy girls women would kill for. He can get whoever he wants. And that’s part of the problem. If you’re constantly seeking the guy who’s going to make every woman jealous, keep in mind that this guy probably (re: definitely) knows that he can get you and any other woman in the room. Thinking that the lotharios are the ones that want to stick around are where you’re bound to get caught going after the wrong guy.

Not Listening

This goes for both men and women. Most of us are very bad at listening. To listen is to devote your complete attention on the other person. If your attention is divided between what they’re saying and what you want to say next or how you want to respond, you will not receive everything he is saying. Listening is not about hearing. It’s about receiving. Information from the other person is coming at you in several forms. Spoken word is only a fraction of it. Pay attention to their body language, their tonality, eye contact, their energy, euphemisms, sarcasm, and the things they don’t say. There is too much being sent to you NOT to be fully attentive.

Location

Sometimes, you may be in a city or town and you just don’t click with the men you’re surrounded by. This happens too. Maybe you’re in a rural town and you like city guys. Or maybe you’re in a city but prefer a cowboy. In any case, you probably won’t be able to connect if you don’t have things in common. If you think that you’re not getting along with the guys in your area, seek out a different area – go to different hang outs, different scenes. Explore. You may find that you’re more attracted to the type that goes to a lounge than goes to a bar.

You Don’t Take Care of Yourself

Believe it or not, men care about this. Not in the ways you think (we’re really not caring what brand your shoes are). But we do care if you take care of yourself. This includes things like wearing nice clothes, doing your hair, makeup, exercising, and even what you eat.

Now, you don’t need to go overboard – and it shouldn’t be a determining factor in a relationship. But if you’re wearing a sweatshirt and jeans without any makeup and your friends are doing a little something to make themselves appealing, most men’s eyes are going to go for those girls first. And it’s not that you aren’t appealing, but by the time he gets to you, he’s already taken by the girl who put in a little extra effort. Also things like staying in shape. A healthy body is connected to a healthy mind. Again, don’t go overboard – extra fat isn’t going to kill you. But making sure that you don’t have five layers of fat will also help.

We lead people how to see us. If you take very little care and interest in yourself, we will follow suit. Yes, men are attracted to physical beauty. So are women. We are all visual creatures. If your perception and opinion for men’s love for the visual and physical is a negative one, then you’re only seeing part of the picture. How you present yourself to the world reflects the level of care you put into yourself. Do you take care of your body? Do you have healthy eating habits overall, or do you eat crap that increases the chances of having health problems in the future? Do you celebrate your face, or do you resent it? However nature and genetics have designed you, you are beautiful… but only if you choose to believe so. If you don’t like what nature has given you, there is a large degree to which you can decorate your machine. Your body and your face are your canvas. Be its master, not its slave. Be kind and encouraging to it, rather than cruel and full of disdain.

You’re Still Hung Up On An Ex

Whether you’re still seeing him or still dreaming about him – the ex is getting in the way and leaving you with nothing but an empty bed. Sometimes the thoughts of an ex will keep you from investing in another man. The ex will make you see other men as just a passing phase on the way back into the ex’s arms. Other times, the men you’re dating will catch wind that you’re still in love with your ex. If this is the case, many men will split before they get attached and subsequently hurt when you and the ex rekindle the spark (even if it’s just for the night).

Being Judgmental and Insecure

Most men do not care to be around women who are full of judgments about people and life. It’s negative, saps out the fun and motivates us to be on guard with what we say and how we act. The end result: We don’t feel free when we’re with you. Hating on other women only reveals your insecurity and weakness of character. People say men are visual, and we are, but we are also discerning when it comes to character.

You Give Everything Up Too Easily

When you’re a teenager, you think the easiest way to get a man to stick around is to sleep with him. When you get a little older, you realize that isn’t necessarily the best way. If you sleep with a man the first time you meet him, there’s a good chance he may not call for a second date. Why? He may feel that he has gotten everything from you that’s worth getting. By not giving him more than a kiss the first night you meet him, he will be encouraged to continue the pursuit. Also, when he finds it’s that easy to be with you sexually, he’ll quickly start to wonder how many other men found it to be just as easy. He will be disinclined to start dating, thinking that you may find another guy to hook up with.

You’re Jaded

Whether you’ve been hurt or taken advantage of before, it’s yesterday’s baggage. It has no place in the present. When you put up your walls, we cannot see you and will lose interest quickly. Courage and confidence are sexy to every gender. When we have to watch out for things that may scare you or bring up bad memories, it sucks away energy we would put in to seducing and enjoying you.

The past is finished. Whatever happened is not happening now or anymore. If you are suffering from it, it is because you keep reaching back to the past to reflect on it. Let it go. It is over.

The same goes with women who are bitter. Holding on to the bad things that have happened to you make you bitter, always. And you carry that taste with you when you meet men. Let go, forgive, forget, or whatever helps you claim back your happiness and power. When part of you stays or continuously revisits the past, you are splintered and we can only experience part of your beauty in the present moment.

You Can’t Accept Compliments or Nice Gestures

Rejecting a compliment can be humble, only to a point. When it continues, you are essentially rejecting a man’s attempt at loving you. We want to tell you and show you that we think you are beautiful. Whether or not you agree with the delivery is a separate matter. Can you accept it with grace and appreciation?

Desperation

It is an energy frequency that repels everyone, men and women alike. Desperation is the fullest expression of fear. Get out of your head. Be in the moment. Enjoy what is happening. Do not attach to any outcome. Desperation is a state of mind that takes you over and drives you repeatedly to singleville.

You Can’t Be By Yourself

Men are turned off by the woman who always has to have company and can’t be by herself. If a man is calling you, and you’re in the company of another man every time, he’ll feel unneeded and wonder why he should even bother with someone who’s always so occupied.

You Don’t Actually Want a Relationship

Whether you admit it or not, you may actually be single because you want to be. You may enjoy going out with girlfriends and playing the field. You may not want the attachment of a serious partner. Or you may just not be very good at commitment. In any case, some women who are single really just want to be single. And some want to be single subconsciously. If you’re asking “why am I single”, but then not returning the calls of men who are interested, or you’re going out for drinks every weekend, these are behavioral signs that you really, at core, don’t want to be tied down. Sometimes being single is just what you want.

Whatever is keeping you single has very little to do with anything outside of yourself. Your perceptions about men, yourself, the meaning you put into the little things, your beliefs – are most likely in need of an overhaul. We are all energetic, vibrating beings. Confidence, fun, depression, bitterness – they all vibrate at specific frequencies. What are you vibrating during most of your life?

The good news is that vibrations, perceptions, and beliefs can always be changed, and that we’re here to help you. Talk to a Relationship Coach today, and begin removing the labels you’ve put over your beautiful self that are clouding you…

YOUR FACEBOOK FRIENDS ARE MAKING YOU FAT, BROKE OR STUDY

Maintaining close ties with your good friends on Facebook increases your self esteem — but also your waistline.

According to a study by researchers at Columbia Business School and University of Pittsburgh, that will be published in the Journal of Consumer Research in June 2013, keeping watch of your good friends’ activities on social media correlates to a higher body-mass index and higher levels of credit card debt. These close connections increase your self-esteem, thereby allowing you to let your guard down and temporarily lose self control.

“We found this in a variety of settings, ranging from healthy versus unhealthy food choices, to how long people persisted at a challenging task,” Andrew T. Stephen, an assistant professor and Katz Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh, and an author of this study, tells Mashable. “We also found broader evidence of this in two really important contexts where self control matters a lot: health and personal finances.”

Stephen adds,

“Note that we found these relationships after controlling for a number of demographic and socio-economic factors that would also affect these things.”

The flip side of this problem is that Facebook shows to increase self-esteem for users who feel close to their “friends.” But it doesn’t take long for negative consequences to occur.

“What was really surprising to us was that in our studies these effects were found after just five minutes of browsing Facebook,” he said. “It seems that people don’t need to spend a lot of time to be psychologically affected.”

This research was conducted through five different studies. Stephen said this news doesn’t mean you need to cut out Facebook from your life. Simply be aware of these potentially negative consequences and use your will power to adjust your actions after you visit your Facebook page.

“Being informed about these kinds of consequences, as surprising as they may be, can help us prevent ourselves from suffering them,” he said.

He also says this information is something policy makers should read — not to implement any kind of oversight or regulation — but to broaden the general knowledge of how social media impacts its users.

Do you eat more or spend more after you check out your Facebook page? Tell us in the comments.

FRIENDSHIP KEY TO LOVING RELATIONSHIPS, RESEARCH SHOWS

Friendship key to loving relationships, research shows

FRIENDSHIP is the main reason that people fall in love, new research shows.

Looks, age, income and religion are much less important, according to leading online relationship site eHarmony. A spokeswoman for the site, Sarah Mason, said personal habits were also not as important as friendship. On a scale of importance, eHarmony’s 790,000 members have ranked friendship as 6.4 out of seven, though more women (92 per cent) than men (82 per cent) consider friendship important.

While not irrelevant, physical attributes are not in the top 10 most important qualities of a relationship. Appearance is most important to people aged 35-49 and the over 50s.

“Overall, less than half of all respondents think physical appearance is an important quality in their partner,” she said.
Recently engaged Preston couple Pip Watts, 32, and Dan O’Donoghue, 29, agree that feeling at ease with each other is the most important thing.

FRIENDSHIP is the main reason that people fall in loveThey met through eHarmony last September and plan to marry in February.

“We had an instant connection and I felt an immediate ease because he made me feel so comfortable and we just chatted away for hours,” Ms Watts said.

“I’d been out with some attractive guys from the site but I just got along so well straight away with Dan. He made me laugh and that was the main thing. It still is.”

While Mr O’Donoghue said chemistry was important, it was not the main thing, especially in the long term.

The Irish-born construction worker said sharing the same values and outlook on life was more important.

“The key to keeping the spark going is to never be complacent and realise that what you have together is the most important thing in the world,”

THREE THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE SLEEPING WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND

Monday, 29 October 2012 0 comments

It's no surprise that most people engage in premarital sex, but one new study found that even if we look at surveys going back for decades, we see the same prevalence of the behavior.

Yes, it's normal to have sex before marriage, meaning that almost everyone does it. After all, there are few things more tempting than the urge to make love with the new guy you're falling madly in love with. But is it healthy?

As with all great questions, the answer is: it depends. Here are the factors that make this normal behavior either healthy — or not — for you and your relationship.

1. Age at first sexual experience. A new study suggests that individuals who have their first sexual experience later than average may have more satisfying romantic relationships in adulthood. According to the study, individuals who waited to have sex beyond age 19 reported less conflict, more enjoyment, and greater love and affection with their partners.

The younger you are when you have sex for the first time the less likely you are to have stable relationships later in life. Because teenage relationships are inherently unstable (how can you know who you want to be with for the rest of your life at age 16?), most of them break up, often abruptly. The resulting trauma tends to be lasting because you are not yet as emotionally resilient as you will be as an adult.

The other risk with teenage sex is learning unhealthy patterns of relating. Due to the immaturity of partners at that age, it's likely that you will ride the emotional roller coaster up and down with the drama of being "on" one week and "off" the next. This creates highs and lows not unlike the ones associated with drug use. Because the brain is still forming as a teenager, you can cement an impression that this is "normal" for relationships, causing you to seek partners later in life with whom you re-create that instability. Sometimes that leads to a syndrome called Love Addiction.

Last, but not least, young people tend to be less informed about sexual health, resulting in teen pregnancies and the transmission of STDs. The bottom line is this: do your best to put off being sexual until at least age nineteen, for the best overall life and relationship outcomes. Regardless of the age at which you begin having sex, the next piece of advice will help you make better decisions about your sexual relationships.

2. How long you date your partner before having sex. The longer you date before having sex, the more likely you will get to the stage of emotional commitment prior to being sexual. Studies show that the higher the level of commitment, the greater the overall relationship satisfaction. That finding is especially true for women.

Becoming sexual with a partner typically means that the choosing is over for her, and the chasing is over for him. Your bond is deeper and the choice is more real if you've taken the time to really know one another prior to sex.

The other issue is emotional insecurity. Sex-too-soon often causes women to feel insecure and men to steer away from the perception of neediness. She wakes up the next day believing they're in a relationship, while he may feel that he's still checking her out. The bottom line: putting off sex with a new partner — for weeks, if not months — helps you pave the way for a more loving experience.

3. Your choice of partner. Postponing sex increases the likelihood of making a better choice of partner, and that is especially true for women. Studies show that women in particular, following sex, experience significant increases of oxytocin, a hormone that promotes bonding. That is why you can choose a sexual partner thinking it is going to be "fun and games" but wake up the next day craving validation that you are in a relationship.

Because sexual bonding tends to cloud judgment, putting off sex gives you a better shot at remaining somewhat objective, and thus more capable of evaluating a potential partner. The whole point of dating and relating is to choose a good partner, someone to love and be loved by, with whom you share values and want the same outcomes in life.

Sex is a wonderful shared experience in a loving, committed relationship. To get to that experience, you may have to rein in your hormones, practice delayed gratification, and use your rational brain to make choices. But the reward may well be worth the wait!

Signs She Loves You Even If She Doesn’t Say It Out Loud

Signs She Loves You Even If She Doesn’t Say It Out Loud

Are you crazy about her? Do you sometimes wonder if she feels the same way about you? Even though you might have tremendous chemistry, most people are amazed at how fast those heady feelings can disappear if other qualities are not present.

Being physically attracted to each other is important, but it doesn’t necessarily mean love exists.

Does she love you? Here are some behaviors that exhibit how she feels. Keep in mind that these are in general, and this information assumes that your girl is not: addicted, abusive, married, living with someone else, or an outrageous flirt. Once you are clear about those facts, here are the nine signs that speak louder than words:

1. Communication
She calls you often, wants to know what you’re doing, and shares her day’s activities. When you ask about her plans for the evening, or the weekend, or even the whole summer, she doesn’t hedge or put you off. She is open and forthcoming.

2. Exclusivity
When she only wants to see you, and does not give you the “space” talk, as in, “I need my space,” and is not craning her neck to watch other men walk by, you have her attention. She makes it known to you and to everyone else that she does not want to date other people.

3. No Conflicting Messages
She makes you her one and only love interest and does not send you conflicting messages. She does not say things like, “I’m in love with you, you are my soul mate, I can’t live without you…AND…I saw my ex yesterday and I think I still have feelings for him.” This kind of message will drive you crazy. You will feel like the rubber ball attached to the paddle by a slim rubber string, batted back and forth. The real message that is being sent is: come here… and go away. You can’t win. But if she loves you, her words and thoughts are straight forward and you do not feel batted around.

4. Family and Friends
She makes plans to introduce you to her family and friends. When you meet them, you realize they already know a lot about you because she has obviously talked about you. Most of them (except the few jealous ones) are warm and friendly and genuinely excited for her that she has found happiness.

5. The Future
When she talks about her plans for the future, she automatically includes you in them. She has places she wants to take you and sights she wants to show you. She follows through on her suggestions. She might also mention marriage and children, if only in an abstract way, to evaluate your reaction.

6. Affirming
She speaks often of how proud she is of you. She does this privately and publicly. She thinks the work you do is the most important thing in the world and loves for you to tell her about what you accomplished during the day. She is happy to help you with your work in any way she can.

7. Gifts
She has noticed what you like, admire, and read, and brings you gifts that reflect what she has observed. The quality of her gift shows the level of her perception about what you like. If she is rich, she may buy you expensive presents. If she is not, she may send cards, books, or poems. If she is not rich and she sends a Porsche or a pricey suit, she’s got some problems. Have the grownup conversation with her about how you don’t like gifts she can’t afford. That would be a very loving thing to do.

8. Touchy
Your girl may be the touchy type, which is not the hyper-thin-skinned poor sport, but the warm, snuggly sort. She may show her love and affection by holding your hand when you’re together, giving big long hugs, frequent kisses, and putting her arm through yours. Her favorite date may be a movie at home so she can cuddle up with you.

9. Helpful
Another overt sign of love is how helpful she is. When she does the garbage detail, helps in the yard, helps you prepare a speech, or cooks your favorite meal, she wants to be in your life!

To move these feelings along, and to better understand where she is, ask her what she wants her future to look like. If she has you in it, and a time-line for certain events that bind you together, the ball is in your court. What do you want?

Remember: in order for love to sustain itself, it needs to flow back and forth. If you do all of the above also, your relationship should be on track.

6 Secret Regrets Of Married Women

MAN MARRIES THREE IN CHURCHIf the activity on the www.mylatestgist.blogspot.com website is any indication, there are a lot of women harboring secret regrets in their marriage. Regrets they can’t reveal to their spouses because it could signal the beginning of the end for their marriage.

But they have revealed them anonymously in this online confessional, and many are featured in the bestselling Secret Regrets book series.

Here are six secret regrets of married women, taken from Secret Regrets Volume 2: Moving Past Your

“I regret going through my husband’s phone and finding out about the affair he had with a girl closer to our daughter’s age than his, who turned out to work at our youngest child’s daycare. I wish I could sleep at night without seeing them or waking up crying. I wish I could look in the mirror without hating every inch of me because I’m nothing like her. I wish I didn’t want to vomit every time he’s gone, just out of insecure fear. I wish she knew I knew. I wish I could be strong enough to tell her husband so it wasn’t just me that hurt this much. I regret finding out the truth because I can’t seem to live with it, or without him.”
–
Female, 31
“I regret that I never told you I loved you. I regret that I never told you how much you mean to me, what kind of man you are, how I think the world of you even when you think the world is crashing down around you. I wish I would have told you that you are the man that I compare every other man to. That none match up because they’re not you. You’re the man that makes me light up when you walk in the room or when I hear your name. I regret not telling you those things. But I would have regretted telling you them even more. I don’t think it would have changed anything – she’s still your wife. She’s still my best friend. But maybe it would have changed me.”
–
Female, 26
“I regret that on a weekly basis I lie to my husband. I lie about going to class just so I can sit in a coffee house and read a book for some ‘me time.’ I tell him I’m stuck in traffic when I’m really stealing 30 minutes to stop at a vitamin store and purchase something for me … I lie about how much money I make. I lie when he calls to see what I am doing … I lie about getting a pedicure. I lie about taking a nap. I know this is wrong, I just don’t know how to do some simple things in life without being hassled … so I lie … It is a huge regret for me since I teach our children how important it is to tell the truth.”
–
Female, 46
“I regret that I didn’t understand that you were dealing with a mental disorder. I thought you were being a selfish husband instead of a sick husband. I regret marrying a man who publicly blames me for the pain and anguish caused by his mental condition, and the devastation it wreaked upon our marriage. I regret that I’m going to have to divorce you in order to escape from your madness. I love you, and I wanted to help you through this, but your cruelty is more than I can take. You’re a good person under this monster, but you let the monster win. He can’t have me, too.”
–
Female, 40
“I regret feeling ‘tied down’ for at least the past 5 years with the feeling of nowhere to go. I regret always feeling alone even when I’m around a room full of people. My life has been consumed by my children, and feeling like I have to cater to my husband’s needs for his career. Feeling like I am only here to prepare his meals and do his laundry when he is home. That I feel like I am alone when dealing with the kids, dealing with the house and everything involved. I regret going through my recent medical issues alone and feeling like I have no one to turn to. I regret not going to school when I really wanted to for MY chance. I regret that I still haven’t had MY chance and don’t know if I ever will.”

“I regret deceiving you like this. Being married to you is the most wonderful thing that ever happened in my life. But I’m sorry, this isn’t your child. This is my stepbrother’s. He came crying to me the morning before we got married. We loved each other. Why do we have to be siblings? I’m sorry I don’t regret anything. I don’t regret this child. I don’t regret anything that ever happened between me and my stepbrother. I know I’m going to bear this burden my whole life.”

8 Warning Signs That Your Girl Doesn’t Love You
Anymore

In most cases when woman is no longer interested in a relationship she doesn’t want to be the one to end it. But even when she is already made the decision to break it up, she will take some time to give you some signs to prepare you, before she tells you. This is time to take a look at your relationship.
1. This is probably the most classic subtle signal of all—-her life become too hectic. She hasn’t picked up the phone for a few days and when she does, she is busy and pretending that she doesn’t have time to met you. This isn’t necessarily a sign that it is over, but if you are used to meet her frequently then there is something wrong.
2. She’s secretive and no longer wants to tell you where she has been or who was on the phone. She may start to flirt and are open to others.
3. She doesn’t want you to touch her anymore…she cringe… That is to say, there is emotional distance between you
and her. You feel like strangers. Sex doesn’t feel as intimate as earlier on in the relationship.
4. She starts to argue. Is she causing arguments over stupid little things? If everything you do or say isn’t right to her anymore and she thinks all that goes wrong is your fault. Then you can start to worry.
5. She starts staying away from you as much as possible. Eventually, when she decided to spend some time with you she keeps looking around to find something to do or someone else to talk to. However, when a woman is interested, she puts in the effort by giving you her full attention.
6. She refuses the presents you make. Women love to get presents, so if she turns yours down, she can feel guilty because she is thinking to break up with you, especially if you know she was about to buy that thing for herself.
7. Don’t forget that women love to talk. If she doesn’t ask you questions and shows no interest in what you have to say and when you ask her questions she limits her answers to “yes” and”no”. She has a problem now. Can it be the relationship with you? She is impatient with you.
8. She talks about divorce or break-up of other people’s relationship, as a positive thing. Maybe a friend of her just has broken up with her boyfriend and now she is doing much better
