13 - YEAR OLD BOY DREAMS OF BECOMING A DOCTOR, BUT HE CAN'T BECAUSE HIS RIGHT ARM IS BIGGER THAN LEGS

13 - YEAR OLD BOY DREAMS OF BECOMING A DOCTOR, BUT HE CAN'T BECAUSE HIS RIGHT ARM IS BIGGER THAN LEGS

For 10 years poor Vhu, aged 13, has watched his arm become more and more swollen and elongated until today it hangs painfully by his side. He dreams of becoming a doctor.

But he doesn’t go to school. Nor does he go out of the yard of his home in Tshivulani Village, near Thohoyandou, Limpopo. He’s afraid the other boys will touch his arm and give him more pain.

His mother Betty is desperate to cure her son. But hospitals, doctors, spiritual healers, pastors, prophets and sangomas have not been able to help. Now there is hope in the form of Limpopo’s MEC for Health, Norman Mabasa a doctor himself. Mabasa has promised to meet Vhuhwavho and his mum personally.

“I’ll make sure Vhu gets the help he needs and a proper diagnosis at a hospital,” he promised Daily Sun.

Said Betty: “It’s hard for a mother to see her son, who is a sweet, bright child, suffering like this for so many years, sitting at home, crying with the pain. I don’t know what to do any more.”

Vhu’s condition began when he was three and he fell down, said Betty. She took him to the Tshilidzini Hospital where doctors didn’t see anything wrong. But when this arm started growing he was referred to the Polokwane Provincial Hospital and then transferred to Dr George Mukhari Hospital in Pretoria.

Doctors there recommended amputation as the only solution which shocked Betty.

“I refused to have his arm cut off, because they didn’t even tell me the cause or the illness he was suffering from,” she said.

She turned to sangomas for an explanation of Vhu’s swollen arm.

“When I came back home, I consulted sangomas, spiritual healers, pastors and prophets but they didn’t change anything. We are a poor family and can’t afford specialists. I just believed that I might find someone who would help my boy,” she added.

Vhu himself talked to Daily Sun about his condition. He told us his hand is painful if pressed.

“I just panic and become scared when I see other kids my age. I’m afraid they they will want to touch it out of curiosity and hurt me in the process. I feel sad because every morning I see boys my age going to school past my house and I wish I could join them, but I can’t. My dream of becoming a doctor is shattered. If God saves me, I can go to school with others, and contribute towards my country,” said poor Vhu.

He’s looking forward to the MEC’s visit in the hope that something will be done at last. Kids at Tshivhulani Village said they know Vhu and they feel sorry for him. But they said they don’t want to play with him.

Pastor Ester Rambani of the Arise and Shine International Ministry based at Sibasa told Daily Sun she was deeply touched to see the young boy in his condition and prayed for him.

ROMNEY: OBAMA BRIBED WOMEN AND YOUTH TO WIN 2012 ELECTION

ROMNEY: OBAMA BRIBED WOMEN AND YOUTH TO WIN 2012 ELECTION

The candidate of the Republican Party in the just-concluded presidential election in the United States of America, Mitt Romney, said at a conference call with donors, on Thursday, that Barack Obama won the 2012 presidential campaign because of “gifts” given by the administration to black, Hispanic and young voters.

“The President’s campaign focused on giving targeted groups a big gift, so he made a big effort on small things. Those small things, by the way, add up to trillions of dollars.” Mr Romney said.

He said moves like the president’s healthcare reform legislation and a decision to suspend deportation of certain illegal immigrants who came to the country as children proved “highly motivational” on Election Day.

Mr Romney also said he had “gotten beat up pretty bad” on issues including his immigration stance and personal wealth.

“I am very sorry that we didn’t win,” Mr Romney told the donors. “I know that you expected me to win. We expected to win. It was very close, but close doesn’t count in this business.”

Republicans run from Romney

Asked about Mr Romney’s comments, the governor of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal told reporters at a Republican Governors Association (RGA) meeting: “I absolutely reject that notion, that description.”

“We need to stop being a dumb party, and that means more than stop making dumb comments,” added Jindal, the RGA’s incoming chairman.

The need to reorient and rebuild the party was a major topic of conversation at the governors’ meeting. Among the top concerns was the party’s failure to attract Hispanics, the fact that its voter turnout operation did not live up to expectations, its flatfooted response to Obama’s attacks on Romney and its misplaced optimism that Romney would win.

At one session, former Mississippi governor, Haley Barbour laid out the need to take an ungentle approach to fixing those problems: “We’ve got to give our political organization a very serious proctology exam. We need to look everywhere.”

Mr Jindal and other governors insisted that putting the party back on track does not mean betraying its traditional principles.

“In the face of the losses, we do have to make changes,” Mr Jindal said. “We need to modernize our party. We don’t need to moderate our party.”

Added Wisconsin’s Scott Walker, who survived a recall effort earlier this year: “It’s not that our beliefs are wrong. We’re not doing an effective enough job articulating those beliefs.”

He also was critical of Mr Romney’s comments. “We’re the party that helps people find a pathway to live the American dream,” Mr Walker said. “They want to have a chance to live the American dream. They want to have a job.”

White House rejects Romney

The White House on Friday rejected Mr Romney’s remarks that President Obama owed his re-election to “gifts” he showered on women, African American and Hispanic supporters.

Mr Obama’s Spokesman, Jay Carney told reporters that Romney’s “view of the American people and the election is at odds with the truth of what happened last week”.

Obama garnered 51 percent of the popular vote to Romney’s 48 percent, and won decisively in the state-by-state Electoral College, where he earned 332 votes to Romney’s 206.

Asked about these remarks by reporters aboard Air Force One, Mr Carney defended President Obama’s social measures as “good for all Americans” and “good for the economy.”

“The President pursued policies that have at their core a desire to help the middle class, strengthen the middle class, make the middle class more secure, because that’s what makes America more secure”.

SSG:GBENGA DANIEL's GOVERNMENT LEFT LOADS OF DEBT AND EMPTY TREASURY IN OGUN STATE

SSG:GBENGA DANIEL's GOVERNMENT LEFT LOADS OF DEBT AND EMPTY TREASURY IN OGUN STATE

The immediate out gone governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel has been alleged to have left no kobo in the state’s treasury as at the time of leaving office. Rather, the past governor was said to have incurred huge debt.

This was made known by the Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Mr. Taiwo Adeoluwa, on Wednesday when he received members of the state Council of Hausa Communities in Abeokuta. He said the Governor Ibikunle Amosun-led administration inherited an empty treasury from its predecessor, pointing out that the Amosun led administration took over from the former governor with nothing.

In a statement issued by the Ogun State SSG, through his press secretary Kunle Sokunbi, Governor Amosun’s prudence and resourcefulness had managed to bring the state back on its feet. Adeoluwa said, “We met a state that salaries and subventions were owed. We met a state where pensions were owed for 32 months. Before they left, minimum wage was not paid. We inherited empty treasury. Even by their own admission, they said they left N50bn debt but we later discovered that the state was indebted to the tune of about N97bn.”

Meanwhile, the former is still under the scrutiny of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after previous attempts by the commission to throw him in jail have failed with their case being thrown out of court.

NUDISTS PROTEST BAN ON PUBLIC NAKEDNESS

NUDISTS PROTEST BAN ON PUBLIC NAKEDNESS

In a country where so much freedom is allowed, nudists want theirs too. They want to be free to move about naked. They love it, they say nudity is natural.

About two dozen pro-nudity activists wearing little but their righteous indignation assembled on the steps of San Francisco City Hall on Wednesday to protest a proposed municipal ban on public nakedness.

“We are here today in response to an attack on our fundamental freedom, our freedom to be ourselves in our own city,” disrobed rally organizer Gypsy Taub declared as her fellow activists displayed signs saying, “Nudity is Natural” and “Nude is not Lewd.”

Local politicians in the famously tolerant city, where men in particular are known to frequently parade undressed through the streets of the predominantly gay Castro District, are considering a law to criminalize nudity on streets, sidewalks and plazas.

A hearing on measure by the city’s Board of Supervisors is scheduled for next Tuesday.

Following the protest, attorney Christina DiEdoardo filed suit on behalf of the nudists seeking to block the proposed nudity ban from enactment.

She contends that a prohibition on public nakedness would deprive her five clients, one of them a former mayoral candidate who ran on a nudist platform, of their constitutional rights to free speech and equal protection under law.

“The city is getting into trying to legislate and criminally enforce a dress code,” she told Reuters. “My clients are trying to save the Board of Supervisors from acting unconstitutionally.”

“Nudophobic bigotry has now taken root here in San Francisco,” Rusty Mills, 69, stripped down to his tanned birthday suit, told his fellow demonstrators as they stood in the sunshine of an unseasonably warm, 70-degree Fahrenheit (21-degree Celsius) fall day.

Supervisor Scott Wiener introduced the proposal to curb undressing after residents complained about a daily gathering of naked men in Jane Warner Plaza, a square in the Castro District. He called the lawsuit a baseless “publicity stunt.”

“There’s always been occasional public nudity in San Francisco. Over the last two years it’s gone from being this quirky, occasional thing to an obnoxious, over-the-top thing,” Wiener said in an interview.

“A lot of people who live in the neighborhood are just sick of the fact that seven days a week there are men taking their pants off and displaying their genitals on our sidewalks and plaza,” he added.

Under the proposed law, which critics dubbed the “Wiener bill,” nudity would still be allowed at permitted parades, fairs and festivals, as well as on designated nude beaches.

Violators would be fined up to $100 for a first offense and $200 for a second. Three-time offenders would face up to a year in jail and a $500 fine.

San Francisco last year began requiring nudists to cover their buttocks in public and to wear clothes in restaurants. Residents say the restrictions only incited the so-called Naked Guys to grow more exhibitionist.

During a hearing before a committee of supervisors last week, Taub, 43, extolled the benefits of going nude, then pulled her dress over her head, threw it on the floor and waved to the audience.

“We refuse to go back to the dark ages of body shame and s*xual repression,” she said, standing completely naked, except for socks and sandals, in front of a lectern. As a sheriff’s deputy escorted her from the chamber, the nude mother of three screamed, “Long live body freedom.”

Dan Glazer, owner of the Hot Cookie, a Castro bakery known for genital-shaped cookies, expressed mixed emotions about the proposed ban.

He said tourists flock to the area to see the Naked Guys and snap pictures, and probably have helped his business. He also said he would hate to see limited police resources used to enforce a nudity ban.

On the other hand, he said, the nudists have crossed the line into an irritating form of exhibitionism, and were “taking advantage of our neighborhood’s openness, of the gay community’s tolerance.”

48 - YEAR - OLD MAN HIGH CHIEF HANGS SELF IN ONDO

48 - YEAR - OLD MAN HIGH CHIEF HANGS SELF IN ONDO

Wednesday was gloomy for the Boboye family as of High Chief Oluwole Boboye hanged himself in his bedroom at his expanse compound in the serene community of Ibule at about 11.35 a.m.

Boboye who worked at Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA was the Akorewolu of Ibule Soro, in Ifedore local government area of Ondo State before he took his own life.

The suicide is especially puzzling as the victim had six children, one of them an undergraduate, a dutiful wife and a fairly good job.

The late Boboye, who lived in Ibule, about ten minutes’ drive to his office, reportedly woke up that fateful morning and handed over N20,000 to the wife as housekeeping allowance, but with a statement which the wife could not immediately decode until it was too late.

A family source told Vanguard that the man, who owned two cars: a Mercedes Benz 180 and a lift back Volkswagen-Passat car, usually went to office on motorcycle, popularly called Okada, maybe to beat the traffic or to disguise.

He was said to have told the wife that something would happen that day and that she should take care of the children but the wife could not understand why her husband of over twenty years was speaking in parables. The wife was said to have reported the husband to his friends in his place of work.

But further steps were not taken to make the deceased expatiate on his riddle. Boboye’s friends reportedly put a call across to him phone but he refused to pick it. The wife was said to have complained that the behaviour of the high chief in the days before he died was strange.

Boboye, a plumber in the Works Department of FUTA, left the house as usual and headed for his office on Okada only to leave the office after he was sure that members of his family would have left the house. He was said to have gone to the market where he purchased a rope and headed back home to hang himself.

According to one of those who saw the corpse after it was removed with the help of a native doctor, it had several stab wounds in the chest. It was gathered that N50,000 was found in his pocket while another N33, 000 was met on the table in his room.

One of his co-workers said the sudden death of Boboye came as a rude shock and could not be explained.

He said Boboye was seen that morning in the office and that he did not look like somebody planning to kill himself.

“He had no reason to kill himself. He was comfortable. He had two cars, a house and was building another. He was healthy, had a dutiful wife and promising children. You can see that from all sides he had no reason to want to take his own life. But now that it has happened, it’s a mystery,” the co-worker stated. His dangling body was said to have been discovered by his friends who accompanied the wife to the house after calls put across to him were not answered.

They were said to have been surprised to see his cars and the Okada parked in the compound and was expecting to meet him in his room only to be confronted with the dangling body of the high chief.

Unconfirmed report said the wife fainted on seeing the body of her husband and was immediately revived. Alarm was raised and elders of the community and family members were invited. After some traditional rites were performed, the body was removed from its hanging position and taken to the General Hospital at Aiyetoro Estate, Ibule. The police in Ondo State described the death of the FUTA staff as shocking.

Speaking with newsmen, the public relations officer of the Ondo State police command, Aremu Adeniran, said the deceased hanged himself in his room at Ayetoro Estate, Ibule. Adeniran said investigation into the incident had commenced.
He added that police detectives had swung into action and will soon unravel the mystery behind the death of the 48 year old plumber. The family of the deceased however declined comments on the suicide.

Community leaders equally refused to speak on the death of the high chief, describing the manner of his death as an abomination. One of them noted that traditional rites will have to be done in the community to appease the gods.

PRESIDENCY :CPC, BOKO HARAM - FG TALKS, BUHARI HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE

Friday, 9 November 2012 0 comments

The sour relationship between the Presidency and former Head of State, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, took a further downward spiral, yesterday, when the seat of power took exception to the allegation by the former head of state that the Boko Haram sect was a creation of the PDP-led government and that he shouldn’t be roped into its problems.

Buhari had addressed the press in Abuja on Wednesday and absolved himself of any link with the sect as well as declined an offer from the group to mediate in its reconciliatory talks with the Federal Government.

The Presidency was infuriated by the general’s statement and has asked him to explain why the sect chose him and not another former head of state to lead its talks.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe, said it was amazing that the sect named Buhari as one of its leading mediators with the government.

Okupe said: “What amazes me here is the fact that they mentioned Gen. Buhari to be one of the mediators. So things are beginning to fall into place.

“And the reaction from the CPC does not help matters at all after all an elder statesman, Dr. Ali Mongunu, was also mentioned and the man has neither rejected nor said anything wrong but the CPC quickly disowned Boko Haram in a very suspicious and questionable manner.

“From my own perspective, it would appear to me that with the statement that is coming from Gen. Buhari that Boko Haram is a creation of PDP and that they should go and fix it, that he is economical with the truth.

“How does that apply to Boko Haram inviting him to mediate in its talks? Is it the government that asked Boko Haram to invite him? And even if it is PDP that created Boko Haram, why should they be asking for Buhari to mediate?”

28-Year-Old Mother Smothered Her Baby To Death With Qur’an To Save Him From The Devil

28-Year-Old Mother Smothered Her Baby To Death With Qur’an To Save Him From The Devil

A 28-year-old mother who smothered her baby to death with a copy of the Koran told police she was trying to save him from being possessed by the devil, a court has heard.

The five-month-old boy, who weighed just nine kilograms, was found with 39 wounds on his body at his home in Halmstad, Sweden, in July this year.

Most of his injuries were caused by being crushed and battered by the Muslim holy book, prosecutors said.
‘The woman intentionally killed her child. She smothered it to death and the Koran was the murder weapon,’ prosecutor Anders Johansson told the court.

The 28-year-old mother, who admits the charges, claimed she had suffered weeks of hallucinations and visions where devil’s horns were growing from her son’s head.

‘I saw horns growing out of the baby’s forehead and long vines on his body. I saw an old man’s head on his body. I wanted to save my baby, not kill him,’ she told the court.

Defence lawyer Goran Ruthberg added: ‘My client was in a psychotic state. She had no intention to kill and considering how she was feeling, she had no way of predicting what might happen.’

The woman’s husband, who cried as he listened to the prosecution’s description of the horrific attack, has forgiven her, according to Expression.

‘She was a good mother and a good wife. It is a horrible thing, but it was an accident,’ he said.

The couple, who are Muslims, reportedly met on the internet and married after a week.

The father said his wife was overjoyed at the birth of their child but her mental health soon deteriorated.

A medical examination found that the mother killed her child under the influence of a serious mental disorder.

She cannot be sentenced to prison if she is convicted of murder, according to the newscaster.

RESIDENTS: JTF KILL ABOUT 40 YOUNG MEN IN MAIDUGURI

Residents: JTF Kill About 40 Young Men in Maiduguri

Nigerian soldiers(JTF) shot dead dozens of young men in an embattled northeastern city during raids in four areas considered strongholds of a radical Islamist group, residents and a morgue attendant said.

Residents of Maiduguri, the home base of Boko Haram Islamists, said the troops who swarmed late Thursday ordered males in their teens and early 20s to separate from others in the neighbourhood.JTF

In the Kalari area, they told the young men “to lie face down on the ground,” then asked the rest to look away.

“All we heard were gunshots. They shot them on the spot,” said the elderly resident, who did not want to be named.
JTF

“They did the same in three other neighbourhoods. We went to the morgue to collect the bodies and we found 48 in all.”

A resident of the city’s Gwange area told AFP that the alleged massacre was “like a movie scene.”JTF

The troops “picked young men from their homes and were shooting them dead before everyone and took the bodies away to the hospital. I have never seen something like this,” he said, also requesting that his name be withheld.

The Sabon Lamba and Gomboru neighbourhoods were also said to have been raided.JTF

A morgue attendant at the Maiduguri General Hospital said they “received 39 bodies yesterday which were brought in by soldiers. They all have fresh gunshot wounds.”

A military source declined to comment on the allegations when contacted by AFP, saying only that if such killings had taken place, they were “unjustified”.

Maiduguri is the epicentre of the Boko Haram insurgency which is estimated to have left 2,800 people dead since 2009, including killings by the security forces.JTF

Amnesty International has charged Nigeria’s security forces with committing massive rights violations, including summary executions, in the campaign to crush the Islamists.

In its report released Thursday, the rights group documented a series of alleged extra-judicial killings by the military and police in Maiduguri.JTF

The military dismissed Amnesty’s allegations and has consistently denied similar reports in the past, but residents have on several occasions accused soldiers of firing indiscriminately on unarmed people, often following attacks on its personnel.

Nigeria is Africa’s most populous country with an estimated 160 million people, where most in the north are Muslim. The south is predominately Christian.

Boko Haram has struck most often in the northeast, but its attacks have stretched across the broader north and down to central Nigeria.

In addition to the security forces, Christians, government officials, and other symbols of authority have been targetted.JTF

Teenager has stomach removed to save her life after drinking

Teenager has stomach removed to save her life after drinking

A teenager has had her stomach removed to save her life after drinking a cocktail made with liquid nitrogen.

Gaby Scanlon was celebrating her 18th birthday at a bar in Lancaster when she had the drink and began to feel breathless.

She developed severe stomach pain and was taken to hospital where she was diagnosed with a perforated stomach.

Doctors performed emergency surgery to remove her stomach and save her life.

Miss Scanlon, from Heysham, Lancashire, is in a serious but stable condition, police said.

Friends said on Twitter she had texted them since coming round from surgery at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

The bar which sold the drink was named by ITV News as Oscar’s in Lancaster.

It issued a statement saying it was ‘tremendously concerned’ for the teenager and that its ‘wishes go to her and her family’.

Last month the bar posted a picture on its Facebook page of a cocktail which contained liquid nitrogen called the Pornstar Martini.
Sold for £8.95 with a shot of champagne, the bar called it ‘amazing’.

Police said the bar has stopped selling all liquid nitrogen cocktails after last Thursday’s incident.

A spokesman added: ‘The premises involved have fully cooperated with all agencies and have suspended drinks involving liquid nitrogen. The investigation is still in its early stages and we are still interviewing witnesses to establish the full facts.’

Liquid nitrogen, which evaporates at minus 196C, has become increasingly common as a method for instantly freezing food and drinks or creating an impressive cloud of vapour – techniques popularised by television chef Heston Blumenthal.

But it should only ever be used as a method to chill glasses or freeze ingredients as it can cause internal damage when inhaled or ingested.

If swallowed, the liquid can freeze parts of the mouth, throat or stomach, causing severe cold burns which destroy the tissue.

Prostitues For Jesus? Meet The Prostitute Who Has Helped Others Turn To Jesus

How can one be a prostitute and then be a “a virgin in Christ?”

Annie Lobert, an ex prostitute has appeared in a new video in which she shares how she became “a virgin in Christ”.

Before turning her life around, Lobert worked on the streets for 16 years. She is now a new woman in Christ and wants to help as many other women find their away to Jesus as possible.

Now 44 years old, Lobert who has survived cancer and drug addiction shares her story which starts with a troubled childhood, growing up in an abusive home. She admits to looking to boys at school to boost her self esteem. She tells a emotional story of getting intimate with a boy who told her he would marry her and then finding out he had told the same story to her best friends and they had all been intimate with him.

After high school graduation, at the tender age of 18, Lobert left home and went to Minneapolis. She says:

”I had to work three jobs to have my own place and buy a car. I thought if I had nice clothes and went to the clubs, maybe I could meet a rich guy that would sweep me off my feet and would take care of me like a prince would. I thought money was the answer to the deep seated, rooted unforgiveness towards my dad, towards that boy in school. I just wanted revenge.”

She describes going into prostitution for the money. One night she says she and a friend sold themselves to some Japanese clients and that is how the prostitution started. Suddenly her $3.47 per hour wage, at her job, paled in comparison to the “$500 per hour with no attachment, no relationship, $1000 per hour, now it was $2000 per hour, it gave me this immense power and if you wanted me for the night it was $10,000.”

Annie Lobert (Right)

Lobert describes being beaten by a man who said he loved her, suffering through cancer and chemotherapy and overdosing on coke before finally realizing that she needed a savior.

”I went completely blind. It’s like the whole room, the light that was on in that room turned dark. And I remember lying there and I felt like this demonic presence just come over me… I knew it was over. And I saw my family, I saw my funeral, and I was in the coffin. And everybody was crying. They were wiping their faces, and they were saying, ‘She was just a prostitute.’

The former prostitute say she remembers calling out saying,

”Jesus, please save me. I do not know if you are real, but I don’t want to die. …And I knew that Jesus heard my prayer. And I laid there and I had this peace come over me, that was nothing like I had ever felt in my entire life. I knew God gave me a second chance.”
VIDEO

After getting better, Lobert shared that she started reading her bible and reluctantly going to church. She felt reluctant because she was “an ex-prostitute.” In church she found that she was accepted and embraced.

In January 2005, Lobert founded Hooker For Jesus to help victims of séx trafficking, séxual violence, and exploitation linked to pornography and the séx industry. In June 2009 her and Oz Fox, a guitarist in the heavy metal Christian band Stryper, got married.

Lobert concluded her story in just three lines:

“Little girl lost, thought no one loved her, thought no one wanted her, ran away from her castle. But God met her on that dark road. He said, ‘You can come home now. I am right here and I never left you.’”

House Of Reps Committee Suspends Kogi House Of Assembly

House Of Reps Committee Suspends Kogi House Of Assembly

The House of Representatives’ adhoc committee mediating in the crisis rocking the Kogi State Assembly has suspended the plenary of the state lawmakers until further notice.

The chairman of the committee, Hon. Mukhtar Mohammed Ahmed, disclosed this yesterday after hearing from the contending groups in the matter.

He said the plenary had to be suspended for now until after the submission of the committee’s report to the National Assembly, assuring that they were poised to carry out a thorough job.

The lawmaker further stressed the need for the members of the state assembly to fully cooperate with them, disclosing that the constitution mandated them to take over the affairs of the House if the matter remained unresolved.

He stressed that their concern in the matter was purely the process of the impeachment and not what led to the removal of the speaker, insisting that the document specifying how the nation should be governed must be protected.

Meanwhile, there was mild drama in the state Assembly yesterday when one of the supporters of the embattled speaker was accused of signing the impeachment notice, only to turn round to abandon the project.

Gabriel Daudu who was among those that moved against the embattled speaker alleged that Abdullahi Lawal, a member from Adavi Constituency, had signed the impeachment notice in his house.

But Lawal stoutly denied the allegation, arguing that a private house was not an Assembly complex and, as such, he could not have done such a thing.

Thirteen members from the embattled speaker’s camp and only three members who carried out the impeachment attended the meeting with the National Assembly adhoc committee.

Dana Airlines Named Best In Nigeria?

Information reaching our desk indicates that Dana Air was named best domestic airline in Nigeria by FAAN. FAAN is the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria and according to them Dana Airlines was the best because they paid they dues on time. And oh also because of good customer service.
That’s all it takes right? Money, money, more-fast-car-money-troubles-for-bow-wow/" target="_blank" title="More fast car money troubles for Bow Wow | money. I wonder if they are aware that one of these airlines air-crafts crashed and killed over 158 people in July. Or for the fact that they paid they dues on time they had to neglect maintenance issues.
Anyway, the award period in consideration spanned over 2012 though but we at still believe that they do not deserve the full-list-of-radio-and-television-personality-award-winners/" target="_blank" title="Full List Of Radio and Television Personality Award ... - by any far shot considering all the recent happenings in 2012.

Security agents arrest suspected impersonator, PDP agent in Ondo election

October 20, 2012 by Gbenga Adeniji 10 Comments

A man identified as Bola Osun was on Saturday arrested by the Yaba Police Division in Unit 23, Ward 7, Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State for allegedly impersonating as a legitimate voter during the Ondo governorship election.

Bosun was swiftly disowned by members of the community.

When questioned by the police, after his name was not found on the register, Bosun said he mistakenly washed his voter card.
