How to be the best friend ever

Saturday 3 September 2016 0 comments

Every ladies know that the bond between best friends is a strong one. Even among your close friends, there will be some you seem closer with. These are your best friends.
You share a lot of secrets with best friends, even those that should be classed personal. Friendship requires a lot of tips so as to keep the relationship going without any issues that could probably end it.
One of the tips is to stop competing with each other.
Every ladies is equally talented and pretty in their own way of doing things. There is no need to be jealous of one another because that jealousy could bring about an end to your hard-earned friendship.
Another tip is to always tell her your sincere opinion about whatever she wishes to know. To those who think apologizing to someone you have wronged is hard, you are probably right. If you want to know what is harder, trying telling the truth. There are some friends who would like more than anything to know how you truly feel about an issue. Mind you, when doing this, you have to be careful of how you present your views to her. Let's take for an example. A friend of yours happens to bake a cake and she gives you some to taste. After you tasted it, you found out that she didn't bake it properly like she should have. Instead of you to tell her straight to her face that the cake was not properly baked, you can just clue her in on how to improve her baking skills. Mind you, you have to be careful when doing this.
Never stop with the compliments Give her sincere credit and compliments if you really like or appreciate what she’s doing. This doesn’t mean you have to like all her pictures on Facebook, but everyone likes to hear a nice word every now and then. Friends pay attention to each other, even if it's something small.
Celebrate together A good friend happily celebrates her friend’s achievements. If your friend gets the highest grade in school, congratulate her and celebrate! This is true for any goals she has been working hard to achieve, not just grades. She put the work in and now you can both be proud of the results!
Supporting each other and being there for each other is what keeps your friendship bond strong, and makes it stronger. Be the best friend ever.

13 - YEAR OLD BOY DREAMS OF BECOMING A DOCTOR, BUT HE CAN'T BECAUSE HIS RIGHT ARM IS BIGGER THAN LEGS

13 - YEAR OLD BOY DREAMS OF BECOMING A DOCTOR, BUT HE CAN'T BECAUSE HIS RIGHT ARM IS BIGGER THAN LEGS

For 10 years poor Vhu, aged 13, has watched his arm become more and more swollen and elongated until today it hangs painfully by his side. He dreams of becoming a doctor.

But he doesn’t go to school. Nor does he go out of the yard of his home in Tshivulani Village, near Thohoyandou, Limpopo. He’s afraid the other boys will touch his arm and give him more pain.

His mother Betty is desperate to cure her son. But hospitals, doctors, spiritual healers, pastors, prophets and sangomas have not been able to help. Now there is hope in the form of Limpopo’s MEC for Health, Norman Mabasa a doctor himself. Mabasa has promised to meet Vhuhwavho and his mum personally.

“I’ll make sure Vhu gets the help he needs and a proper diagnosis at a hospital,” he promised Daily Sun.

Said Betty: “It’s hard for a mother to see her son, who is a sweet, bright child, suffering like this for so many years, sitting at home, crying with the pain. I don’t know what to do any more.”

Vhu’s condition began when he was three and he fell down, said Betty. She took him to the Tshilidzini Hospital where doctors didn’t see anything wrong. But when this arm started growing he was referred to the Polokwane Provincial Hospital and then transferred to Dr George Mukhari Hospital in Pretoria.

Doctors there recommended amputation as the only solution which shocked Betty.

“I refused to have his arm cut off, because they didn’t even tell me the cause or the illness he was suffering from,” she said.

She turned to sangomas for an explanation of Vhu’s swollen arm.

“When I came back home, I consulted sangomas, spiritual healers, pastors and prophets but they didn’t change anything. We are a poor family and can’t afford specialists. I just believed that I might find someone who would help my boy,” she added.

Vhu himself talked to Daily Sun about his condition. He told us his hand is painful if pressed.

“I just panic and become scared when I see other kids my age. I’m afraid they they will want to touch it out of curiosity and hurt me in the process. I feel sad because every morning I see boys my age going to school past my house and I wish I could join them, but I can’t. My dream of becoming a doctor is shattered. If God saves me, I can go to school with others, and contribute towards my country,” said poor Vhu.

He’s looking forward to the MEC’s visit in the hope that something will be done at last. Kids at Tshivhulani Village said they know Vhu and they feel sorry for him. But they said they don’t want to play with him.

Pastor Ester Rambani of the Arise and Shine International Ministry based at Sibasa told Daily Sun she was deeply touched to see the young boy in his condition and prayed for him.

ROMNEY: OBAMA BRIBED WOMEN AND YOUTH TO WIN 2012 ELECTION

ROMNEY: OBAMA BRIBED WOMEN AND YOUTH TO WIN 2012 ELECTION

The candidate of the Republican Party in the just-concluded presidential election in the United States of America, Mitt Romney, said at a conference call with donors, on Thursday, that Barack Obama won the 2012 presidential campaign because of “gifts” given by the administration to black, Hispanic and young voters.

“The President’s campaign focused on giving targeted groups a big gift, so he made a big effort on small things. Those small things, by the way, add up to trillions of dollars.” Mr Romney said.

He said moves like the president’s healthcare reform legislation and a decision to suspend deportation of certain illegal immigrants who came to the country as children proved “highly motivational” on Election Day.

Mr Romney also said he had “gotten beat up pretty bad” on issues including his immigration stance and personal wealth.

“I am very sorry that we didn’t win,” Mr Romney told the donors. “I know that you expected me to win. We expected to win. It was very close, but close doesn’t count in this business.”

Republicans run from Romney

Asked about Mr Romney’s comments, the governor of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal told reporters at a Republican Governors Association (RGA) meeting: “I absolutely reject that notion, that description.”

“We need to stop being a dumb party, and that means more than stop making dumb comments,” added Jindal, the RGA’s incoming chairman.

The need to reorient and rebuild the party was a major topic of conversation at the governors’ meeting. Among the top concerns was the party’s failure to attract Hispanics, the fact that its voter turnout operation did not live up to expectations, its flatfooted response to Obama’s attacks on Romney and its misplaced optimism that Romney would win.

At one session, former Mississippi governor, Haley Barbour laid out the need to take an ungentle approach to fixing those problems: “We’ve got to give our political organization a very serious proctology exam. We need to look everywhere.”

Mr Jindal and other governors insisted that putting the party back on track does not mean betraying its traditional principles.

“In the face of the losses, we do have to make changes,” Mr Jindal said. “We need to modernize our party. We don’t need to moderate our party.”

Added Wisconsin’s Scott Walker, who survived a recall effort earlier this year: “It’s not that our beliefs are wrong. We’re not doing an effective enough job articulating those beliefs.”

He also was critical of Mr Romney’s comments. “We’re the party that helps people find a pathway to live the American dream,” Mr Walker said. “They want to have a chance to live the American dream. They want to have a job.”

White House rejects Romney

The White House on Friday rejected Mr Romney’s remarks that President Obama owed his re-election to “gifts” he showered on women, African American and Hispanic supporters.

Mr Obama’s Spokesman, Jay Carney told reporters that Romney’s “view of the American people and the election is at odds with the truth of what happened last week”.

Obama garnered 51 percent of the popular vote to Romney’s 48 percent, and won decisively in the state-by-state Electoral College, where he earned 332 votes to Romney’s 206.

Asked about these remarks by reporters aboard Air Force One, Mr Carney defended President Obama’s social measures as “good for all Americans” and “good for the economy.”

“The President pursued policies that have at their core a desire to help the middle class, strengthen the middle class, make the middle class more secure, because that’s what makes America more secure”.
